What I offer
Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Six focused service areas covering the full lifecycle of a web project — design and build, AI features, the campaigns that bring people to it, and the hosting that keeps it up.
01
Web & App Development
Whether it's a customer portal, a SaaS product, an internal tool, or a complex booking system — I build it properly. Laravel on the backend, Livewire for reactive interfaces, and Tailwind for a UI that's both sharp and maintainable.
No cutting corners on security or testing. You get a codebase you can hand to another developer in two years and they won't hate you for it.
What's included
- Custom Laravel application development
- Livewire reactive components & real-time UI
- RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Authentication (including 2FA)
- Automated test suite (Pest)
- Code review and security audit
- Documentation and handover
02
UI/UX Design
Design and development from the same person means no translation layer, no "the designer said one thing but the dev built another." I design interfaces that are both beautiful and buildable.
Component systems built on Tailwind and Flux mean your brand is consistent everywhere and easy to extend as you grow.
What's included
- Wireframes and high-fidelity mockups
- Component library and design system
- Dark-mode native interfaces
- Responsive across all screen sizes
- Accessibility (WCAG AA)
- Motion design and micro-interactions
- Brand-aligned typography and colour systems
03
SEO & Performance
A fast site ranks better, converts better, and frustrates people less. Performance and SEO are baked into how I build things — not treated as an afterthought or a "phase two."
I've taken sites from 40 PageSpeed scores to 98+. Technical SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals are all part of the standard build.
What's included
- Core Web Vitals optimisation (LCP, FID, CLS)
- Semantic HTML and structured data (schema.org)
- Image optimisation and lazy loading
- Server-side rendering for fast TTFB
- Meta tags, Open Graph, Twitter Cards
- Sitemap and robots.txt configuration
- Analytics integration (GA4 / Plausible)
04
Hosting & Maintenance
Once the site is live, it needs to stay that way. I offer ongoing maintenance retainers that cover everything from dependency updates to new feature requests — so your tech never falls behind.
Laravel Forge-managed servers with zero-downtime deployments, SSL, automated backups, and proactive monitoring.
What's included
- Laravel Forge server setup and management
- Zero-downtime deployments via GitHub Actions
- SSL certificates (auto-renewing)
- Automated daily backups
- Uptime monitoring and incident alerts
- Monthly dependency and security updates
- Priority support and change requests
05
AI Integration
I'm co-founder and CTO of DirectOffer, and a named inventor on three granted US patents — one of them covering the AI behind narrative audio tours and virtual agents. This isn't a service line I added because the market moved; it's work I've been doing at depth for years.
Most AI projects disappoint because whoever wired up the model had never seen the application. I build AI features into products I've already built — so the data, the schema, and the permissions are all sitting there already. Document processing, semantic search, natural-language reporting, drafting and triage.
An AI feature drifts in ways a CRUD app never does, so every one ships with an eval suite and a per-transaction cost you can actually budget for. No black boxes, no surprise API bills, and an honest answer when the best solution isn't AI at all.
What's included
- AI readiness audit and feasibility review
- Document processing and data extraction (PDFs, forms, invoices)
- Semantic search across your own content
- Natural-language reporting over your database
- Eval suites and quality regression testing
- Cost modelling and per-transaction budgeting
- Prompt-injection and PII handling review
06
Search & Paid Acquisition
For nine years I built and led the digital wing of an attorney advertising agency, running search and paid campaigns for dozens of clients — several at five figures of monthly ad spend, and one at six. Managing budgets that size teaches you very quickly which levers actually move a number and which ones just look busy on a report.
Most developers can build you a fast site and then leave you to find an agency to fill it. I can do both — and tell you plainly when paid spend isn't your problem, because sometimes the answer is a better landing page, not a bigger budget.
What's included
- Google Ads strategy, build and ongoing management
- Campaign structure, keyword and competitor research
- Landing pages built and tested for conversion
- Conversion tracking and attribution you can trust
- Budget planning and bid strategy
- Plain-English reporting — spend, leads, cost per lead
- An honest answer when paid search is the wrong spend
Common questions
FAQ.
A marketing website is usually 3–6 weeks. A custom web application is typically 6–20 weeks depending on scope. I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront — and stick to it.
Absolutely. Most of my clients are remote. I'm comfortable with async communication and regular video check-ins. Timezone-wise I'm Central (US), which works well for most US clients and many in Europe.
PHP 8.4 · Laravel 13 · Livewire 4 · Tailwind CSS 4 · Alpine.js · MySQL · Redis · Laravel Forge for hosting. I'm opinionated about this stack because it's genuinely the best choice for most web applications — fast to build, easy to maintain, and performant in production.
Honestly? Often not. Plenty of things people want AI for are better solved with a well-designed form and a database query — cheaper, faster, and right every time. Where it does earn its place is unstructured work: reading documents, searching messy content, drafting and triaging. I'll tell you which side of that line you're on before you spend anything, and I'll quote you a running cost per transaction rather than hand-waving at it.
Yes, but I'll want to do a code review first. I'll give you an honest assessment of what we're working with, what it'll take to get to a good baseline, and whether I'm the right person for the job.
I can do both independently, but the sweet spot is end-to-end. Design-only is fine if you have a capable dev team. Development-only works well if you come with production-ready designs. Just talk to me — we'll work something out.
You own the code and everything created for the project — designs, assets, content. If I'm hosting for you it runs on my infrastructure rather than yours, and I offer maintenance retainers for ongoing support, updates and new features. But there is no lock-in: the handover package is yours, and you can move it to another host or another developer whenever you want.
Let's talk about your project.
Fill in the brief form and I'll come back within one business day. No hard sell, just an honest conversation.
